Mechanism

For 2 Bass Trombones.

Mechanism – rigid bodies connected by joints in order to accomplish a desired force and/or motion transmission.
Consisting of 2 Movements.

01. Machine Elements.  Adagio Misterioso. How does a Mechanism work? Think of structural components such as frame members, bearings, axles,splines,fasteners,seals, lubricants, and
control components such as buttons, switches, indicators, sensors, actuators and computer controllers.

02. Gear Train. Allegro. In this second movement the Mechanism is moving around. Here a gear train is also connected with chain dives, belts, linkages, cams and follower systems. The speed of this movement is personally up to you how you would like to express the inside of a working machine.
